  • Freelance writer and author Simon Griffiths has launched Tzero, a website for triathletes of all ages and abilities. The majority of the site’s content is user generated, but Simon aims to maintain quality through tight editorial control. Articles include race reports, book reviews, how to guides and product reviews written by triathletes for triathletes. The website address is www.tzero-tri.com
  • BeGrand.net launched on 25 January. Articles include maintaining great relationships across the family, fun things to do without breaking the bank, advice on caring for children and keeping them safe, and information on everyday issues around growing up.
  • FHM has a new look from the March issue. Design guru Jeremy Leslie worked on the redesign, enhancing the magazine’s three main sections – Access, Filter and Upgrade. He will continue at the title as creative consultant in a freelance capacity. The art team will also undergo changes to implement the design redirection. Max Power’s Nick Thackray now heads up the FHM art desk. Adam Gerrard has been promoted to deputy art editor, and Samantha Webster has joined as picture editor.
  • homesandtravel.co.uk launched on 1 February 2010. The website, which is edited by property journalist Stewart Anderson, is aimed at members of the public who are planning to buy a property both in the UK and abroad.
