Following Philip Scott‘s departure from thisismoney.co.uk, Tara Evans has been promoted from trainee journalist to web journalist. In her new role, Evans will cover insurance and consumer issues, including motoring, utilities and holidays. Her contact details remain the same. Scott left the website to join HSBC Global Asset Management as senior media relations manager. Also at the website, Dan Hyde has joined as a trainee journalist and will initially cover pensions, formerly part of Scott’s remit. Alan O’Sullivan, who covers savings, will extend his reach to cover investment. Gillian Bevis will cover O’Sullivan’s former patch of credit cards and loans.
